As a family-owned Danish company based in Greater Copenhagen, the team currently consists of husband & wife who dedicate themselves to creating high-quality audio-visual designs.
Under the brand, Akkurat Audio, they produce their own high-performance speakers.
Our mission is to provide homeowners with a end-to-end audio visual solution that combines our own high-quality speakers, state-of-the-art electronics in non-invasive designs, thus enhancing the sound experience of customer’s living spaces without compromising aesthetics.
We aim to deeply understand our customers’ needs while respecting their privacy by offering personalized, old-fashioned service. Therefore it is with full intention that our website does not have cookies, a webshop or a chatbot. Though display the suggested retail price incl. VAT for Akkurat Audio speakers.
We specialize in personalized audio-visual systems at a reasonable price, only goldplating where it matters, bridging the gap between local Hi-Fi stores and “money-no-object” custom installers.
The company is committed towards working with partners, who uphold strong social and ethical standards, prioritizing those located near our production to minimize unnecessary global transportation.
Akkurat Audio is a part of A Sound Experience. The Danish word “akkurat” translates to “exactly,” “precisely,” or “just right” in English. It signifies precision or accuracy, often indicating something matches a standard or expectation. It can also express agreement, similar to “that’s right” or “exactly.”

Design and Performance Philosophy
At Akkurat Audio, our Design and Performance Philosophy is at the heart of everything we do, ensuring customers can always expect high-performance speakers that surpass standard expectations. Every model is engineered to deliver exceptional performance, with each speaker thoughtfully designed and manufactured in Denmark.
Akkurat Audio Subwoofer Series:
Our Subwoofers, serve as combined subwoofer, upper bass, and mid-bass driver. We carefully design them to support or off-load the 20Hz–500Hz low-frequency range across all Akkurat Audio models and series. By relieving the speakers of reproducing demanding low frequencies, strain is reduced, while sound pressure and clarity are preserved and audible distortion is minimized.

Akkurat Audio Point Source Series:
The Point Source Speaker Series offers a wide frequency response, delivering full-bodied sound in every channel. Although a minimum of two subwoofers is recommended, higher-tier systems often include four or more performance-matched subwoofers. Crossover typically occurs between 60–100Hz, with higher-tier models supporting Dirac ART correction down to 30Hz. The series includes Passive models for most spaces and Outboard Active Crossover models for high-demand or extra-large environments.

Akkurat Audio Line Source Series:
The Line Source Series delivers virtually unlimited SPL, using exclusively Outboard Active Crossover speakers that operate with a minimum of two DSP channels and amplification per speaker. With enormous headroom, these speakers rely on multiple subwoofers for full-range, reference-level performance. Akkurat Audio offers two models, a standalone and a stackable version, both exceeding conventional loudspeaker standards. To achieve full stereo reference performance, the system requires at least two Citadel or four Station Subwoofers.

At Akkurat Audio, our goal is to get as close to sustainability as possible, recognizing that some aspects are still beyond reach. As a family-owned Danish company, we prioritize locally sourced materials and produce our speakers built-to-order, reducing waste and supporting sustainable production.
We have also worked hard to improve assembly quality, streamline processes, and free up more time to focus on meeting our customers’ needs.
